Nu Werk City

Summing up the last 5 years of a pretty strong catalog of releases, Harlem Station Recordings presents "NU WERK CITY" - dishing up the finest selection of hits, the (oh no!) misses, (ba-da) bombs and abstracts of the discarded bins. Regaling fans and the public alike with another chance to catch up with the labels' chronicles, this compilation delivers a memorable and ondulating journey with a smooth musical underfoot. Revel in tresors from top-notch artists such as La Veda, Nitewerx, Javas, Gaty Lopez, Breeze, CJ Burken and many more. There is no shortage of beautiful and talented eclectics in this camp, with a continuous beat mix by our own label honcho, The Undah-Dub. Uncover a treasure-trove full of funk, deepness and soul.

Allow your body to sweat, your tongue to wag and feet to swell and throb to the beat of your own heart rate. One hour of non-stop loveliness of strings, melodies and wonders that will cement an already prestigious cachet for the label and prove undeniable its impact on the indie landscape and your sound system's lifespan. Please don't forget your towels and towelettes. We'd hate for your neighbors to slip on the wet floor and break something before the story is over!!! Yes, it is that serious! New York is serving "NU WERK CITY", we don't call it "No York" anymore, so be ready to dig in and do your share during this rebirth!
