Since immigrating to the US from his hometown of Urziceni, Romania in 2004, DJ Highway has been feverishly working on establishing his name here in the United States. Highway began producing tracks back in 1998 and eventually released his first production call "Crazy Summer" in 2000. After arriving in Philadelphia, DJ Highway hit the ground running and has since become a well known name in Philly. DJing at some of the best and most well known venues in Philadelphia like Denim, Prive, Highway has branched out and rocked the decks at some of the best clubs on the east coast like Sin City (CT), Lima (DC) and Felt (MA). 2010 has been a monster year for DJ Highway. After kicking producing into high gear, Highway has released smash bootleg reworks of John Dahlback's "Love Inside", Outwork's "Electro" and Edward Maya's international chart topper "Stereolove". In addition, DJ Highway participated in remix competitions for Steve Lawler, Tommyboy and Club Space's anthem track contest. DJ Highway's eclectic mixture of tech, tribal and progressive styles with his own international flavor inspires the dance floor and keeps the keeps the speakers thumping. 2011 is set to be a breakout year for Highway as he is focusing on releasing a slew of original productions, remixes and continue his work with the DJ/Production trio of Stereosoul.
