IVI-R (dj / producer / remixer) was born in October 1982 in Antwerp, Belgium. He still lives in Antwerp, the city where he grew up.
Since he was the age of 16 he got interested in dance music. DJ IVI-R had some ambitions to become a dj, but there was no money for that expensive hobby..
Only almost 10 years later in november 2006, DJ IVI-R was reborn, starting with a cheap double cd player and starting to produce with Reason.
One year later, DJ IVI-R had his first 4 tracks signed on the Bonzai Music/Banshee Worx label.
IVI-R has been producing different styles of music. The most frequent produced genre is house/electro-house /minimal house/progressive house/minimal techno.
In Februari 2008, DJ IVI-R won the first dj contest he ever competed in. After only one year dj'ing, DJ IVI-R was announced the winner of the big young talent corner/poppunt contest. As a winner, DJ IVI-R played at the big Belgian club Versuz in april 2008.
